The Big House

The main house at Casa Amigos was long used as an old-fashioned bed-and-breakfast for friends and guests of the owner.  As such, it is laid out with four self-sufficient sleeping quarters on the second and third levels, with common spaces on the ground level.

Up an open-air staircase, each bedroom is accessed from the landward side, and each is serviced by its own full bathroom.  The rooms are modest in size but supplemented by individual balconies facing the sea and sunset.  It’s the view!!

We cleverly refer to the rooms as “one, two, three and four."  They have much in common and each is supplied with its own mini-split air conditioner.

Visitors at the Big House share a sizable modern kitchen with all the common appliances and supplies.  Adjacent are a dining room and sunken living room for passing an afternoon reading a book, or tilting over a board game in the evening.

The interior courtyard is great for morning meals, and the ocean-side patio is great for sunset meals.  The Big House hosts an extra-large hot tub, but not a true swimming pool.  We estimate that 10 adults can comfortably enjoy the hot tub together.
